In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire QA lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release management, ensuring that our software solutions meet functional, performance, and security benchmarks. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in testing processes, foster collaboration across development teams, and deliver exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases aligned with business requirements and technical specifications. Lead the execution of various testing types including functional, system, performance, load, security, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript to accelerate testing cycles. Coordinate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and TFS for seamless deployment workflows. Conduct root cause analysis for defects identified during testing phases and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently. Oversee test data management using SQL databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB to ensure accurate and reliable test environments. Manage defect tracking and reporting through tools like Jira or HP ALM while ensuring timely resolution before release milestones. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with stakeholders to validate that solutions meet business needs before deployment. Drive quality assurance best practices across Agile and Waterfall SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies to enhance overall product reliability. Monitor system performance metrics using LoadRunner or similar tools to optimize application responsiveness under varying loads. Requirements Proven experience in software quality assurance leadership within a fast-paced development environment. Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, and scripting languages including Python or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms for mobile applications using tools like Appium or similar frameworks. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services testing using Postman or SoapUI; proficiency in API automation is a plus. Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall models; experience implementing DevOps practices is advantageous. Expertise in database management and data analysis skills utilizing SQL (MySQL, SQL Server) or PL/SQL for test data validation. Knowledge of version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, SVN; experience with CI/CD pipelines integrating Jenkins or Azure DevOps is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues across diverse systems. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting test procedures clearly. Technical proficiency in tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Maven, Ant, Linux/Unix environments; familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
