Job Description

Crew Leader Direct Hire Rochelle, IL Position Summary:
We're seeking a versatile and hands-on Crew Leader to drive our construction and repair projects. This role requires a proactive leader who actively participates in on-site tasks, guiding the team to ensure the quality and timely completion of various projects. Your strong leadership skills and willingness to work side-by-side with the team will be crucial in fostering a culture of hard work and excellence.
Skills:
Leadership & Active Participation:
Lead by example, actively participating in on-site repair tasks while coordinating the team's activities. Guide and work alongside the team to complete tasks efficiently.
Project Coordination:
Plan daily tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines to ensure the timely completion of all projects.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of workmanship, conducting regular inspections to ensure installed work meets quality standards.
Technical Support:
Provide guidance using hands-on knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials to assist the team in problem-solving and efficient task completion.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines, fostering a secure work environment.
Client Communication:
Effectively communicate with clients, addressing concerns, and providing project updates, showcasing a professional, hands-on approach.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and essential documentation for project reporting.
Requirements:
Leadership Experience:
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and manage a team, setting an example through active participation.
Technical Aptitude:
Strong familiarity with general construction tasks and tools, even without specific foundation repair experience.
Safety Focus:
Understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Communication Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and internal reporting.
Valid Driver's License:
Required for travel to project sites and client locations.
