Job Description

Job description: We are seeking an safety manager to help out in our office. We are a medium sized trucking company. Must have previous experience. Must be familiar with Logs and hours of service. Must be familiar with driver hiring and qualifications. Must have experience filing IFTA. Control of Drivers Orientation process Follow up and training for new and current drivers Claim Investigations and Claim Control Drivers screening, hiring and files' maintenance Great communication and customer service skills Maintenance of Documents required by DOT Maintaining equipment files, maintenance records Coordinates compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and works closely with CEO & Operations Manager to accomplish company objectives Completes additional duties as assigned Processes registrations, permits, IFTA and tolls Communicate with supplier in regards to company fleet inspections Monitor drivers' daily logs
