Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Program Lead —
Manufacturing Location:
Indianapolis, IN |

Full-time Aegis Worldwide is partnering with an automotive manufacturer to elevate plant-wide safety performance. In this role, you will set the vision for an effective Occupational Health & Safety program and guide a capable team to embed safe work practices into daily operations. What you will own Define the strategic roadmap for safety, integrating business objectives, regulations, and industry best practices. Lead, mentor, and prioritize the work of the safety team to execute programs consistently across the site. Build, maintain, and continually improve policies, procedures, and the OHS Management System aligned to
ISO 45001.
Use leading and lagging indicators to analyze performance trends and drive risk reduction and long-range planning. Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and CI leaders to weave safety into production, capital projects, and improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance through governance, audits, and oversight; advise leadership on risk exposure and performance results. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial settings. Expert knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and NFPA standards. Demonstrated leadership, team development, and stakeholder influence capabilities. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with common business software and digital tools used for inspections and reporting.
