Job Description
As a Quality Risk Manager, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn -whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.
- Job Summary and Qualifications
- As the Quality and Risk Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing a safe and efficient work environment for your staff.
- What you will do:
- + Oversee the collection, compilation, analysis and presentation of evidence for your center + You will distribute Service Quality Index scores + Facilitate a team-oriented approach to process improvement and problem solving amongst your team + You will oversee safety in-service programs + Maintain, review, receive and report all variances for your center + You will prepare and present findings and outcome measures related to your initiatives + Develop and manage peer review processes for your team + You will perform tracking and trending of patient satisfaction survey feedback + Maintain requirements from OSHA, CMS, AAAHC and federal agencies related to quality improvement, risk management and quality of care for your center + You will coordinate and prepare for state/federal inspections and accreditation surveys •What you should have for this role•+ Nursing Diploma + Valid CPR or BLS certification + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably ambulatory care, risk management and/or quality improvement + One year of supervisory experience •Benefits•Surgicenter of Johnson County, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
