What you will do Act as primary client contact for safety leadership Manage on-call tasks from scope through closeout Translate requests into clear plans, schedules, staffing, and deliverables Oversee safety programs including SMS, Safety and Security Certification, and Risk-Based Inspection Ensure alignment with FTA, OSHA, and industry standards Lead audits, corrective actions, and hazard tracking Manage teams, budgets, and timelines Review deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance Provide clear updates, reports, and executive summaries What you bring 10 plus years in safety, compliance, or program management Experience in transit, transportation, infrastructure, or other regulated environments Background in audits, inspections, or compliance programs Strong project leadership and communication skills Working knowledge of OSHA or FTA requirements Experience with safety management systems and risk mitigation Nice to have Certifications such as CSP, ASP, PMP, SMS, or similar Transit experience, including bus or rail Familiarity with APTA or State Safety Oversight Experience with dashboards, reporting, or audit tracking tools Benefits 15 days paid time off 11 paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision Voluntary short-term disability, life insurance, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, whole life plus, identity theft, and legal support 401 k Employee Assistance Program Compensation $55.29 - $74.52 Hourly, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications PEMCCO, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
