Day ShiftProject Scope The Safety Manager will support a data center project in St. Francisville, LA, focusing on maintaining a safe and compliant work environment throughout all project phases. This role will oversee daily safety activities, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards, company policies, and site-specific safety protocols.

Responsibilities include incident and case management, verification of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit to Perform (PTP) procedures, and consistent engagement with site personnel to promote safe work practices. The Safety Manager will also deliver daily safety briefings, reinforcing awareness and accountability across all teams on-site.

70EAdditional Requirements Ability to work onsite full-time (M-F schedule) Strong communication and leadership skills in a construction environment Experience working on data center or industrial projects preferredKey Responsibilities Manage and document incidents, near misses, and safety cases Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks Verify compliance with LOTO and PTP procedures Monitor work activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations Collaborate with site teams to address hazards and implement corrective actions Maintain accurate safety records and reporting documentation Skills Safety compliance, incident management, LOTO verification, PTP systems, hazard identification, safety training, communicationKnowledge Base The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of construction and data center safety practices, including OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, and energy control procedures such as LOTO. Experience in managing field safety operations, conducting site audits, and leading safety initiatives in high-risk environments is essential for success in this role.
