Standard business hours with flexibility to support off-shift operations as needed Job Details A leading manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking an experienced EHSS Manager to lead all environmental, health, safety, and security initiatives at a site level. This role will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, driving environmental reporting efforts, and building a strong, proactive safety culture across operations.

Description The EHSS Manager will serve as the site leader for all EHSS-related programs, partnering closely with operations, leadership, and contractors to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. This individual will take ownership of environmental reporting, regulatory initiatives, and the continuous improvement of safety processes and culture across both manufacturing and distribution functions. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage EHSS programs across manufacturing and distribution operations Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) Oversee environmental reporting, permitting, and audits Develop, implement, and sustain site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits to identify and mitigate risks Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked Drive continuous improvement in safety culture through training, engagement, and leadership initiatives Partner with operations and leadership to standardize EHSS practices across the site Manage contractor safety programs and ensure compliance with company policies Support emergency preparedness, response planning, and site security initiatives Required Skills Proven experience leading environmental reporting and regulatory compliance programs Hands-on EHSS leadership experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations Experience developing and implementing safety procedures and site-specific programs Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives, risk assessments, and incident investigations Track record of driving safety culture improvements through engagement and training Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with operations, leadership, and external partners Plusses Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) Experience working in multi-site or high-volume production environments Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
