Full Job Description Comp Range:
$89,000- 108,000 Role purpose: The Manager, Safety Assurance Supplemental Work, is responsible for ensuring effective safety assurance and regulatory compliance across Supplemental Work capital projects within Engineering.
Key Accountabilities:
This position operates in a combination of office, field, and active railroad right‑of‑way environments. Regular field presence is required at construction sites, capital project locations, and operational areas, including work within active heavy rail corridors. Exposure to typical railroad and construction hazards, including moving equipment, uneven surfaces, high‑voltage systems, noise, and weather conditions. Work may require adherence to railroad safety rules, personal protective equipment requirements, and right‑of‑way access protocols. Evening, overnight, weekend, and on‑call availability may be required to support outages, capital work windows, investigations, or supplemental work activities. Moderate travel within the service territory may be required to support projects, audits, and stakeholder engagement.Additional Statements:
