FCA Group The Senior Safety SME will be responsible to advance the state-of-the-art development activities related to vehicle safety crashworthiness. The responsibilities of this position include: Working closely with various industry / academic experts and suppliers to interpret new regulatory requirements and work collaboratively in providing industry-based responses. Lead the safety development strategy for new regulatory and third-party safety requirements by establishing technology roadmaps, developing appropriate design strategies, and identifying current or advanced countermeasures. Conduct global benchmarking activities and identify trends in vehicle safety technologies and content. Establish best practices and author / maintain globally harmonized safety procedure documents. Represent Stellantis for all vehicle safety related development activities with various working groups and industry forums such as SAE, USCAR and crash related software user conferences. Support root cause and issue resolution during critical product development activities. Train and educate safety performance engineers in understanding and implementing the latest technologies.
