Job Description

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (weekends as needed) Position Summary The Safety Coordinator / Manager serves as a coach, leader, and subject-matter expert in construction safety. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting training, and promoting a proactive culture of safety across all job sites. Key Responsibilities Perform job-site safety audits and inspections Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements Train employees on job-specific and industry safety standards Maintain OSHA logs and perform all required OSHA recordkeeping Investigate incidents, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions Serve as a resource for all safety-related concerns Assist with job-site safety planning and pre-task planning Participate in safety planning and coordination meetings Analyze safety data to identify trends and prevent future incidents Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong leadership and people-management skills Solid knowledge of construction safety and health regulations (OSHA) Ability to identify current and future safety risks and recommend corrective actions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to collaborate effectively with field and office teams Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry Preferred Certifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST)
