We're seeking a Safety & Compliance Manager to lead our safety programs, strengthen compliance, and help drive continued success. Summary The Safety & Compliance Manager oversees all safety programs and ensures compliance with DOT and regulatory requirements. This role leads safety initiatives, drives continuous improvement, and collaborates across teams to support drivers, employees, and overall company performance. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with DOT and regulatory requirements Monitor CSA scores and communicate performance Oversee driver compliance, including ELD/log requirements Investigate accidents and coordinate reporting Partner with vendors and insurance providers on safety initiatives Lead monthly Safety Committee meetings Manage the Driver Performance Incentive Program Identify and implement safety improvements Support drivers alongside Driver Managers Leadership Responsibilities Support company policies, planning, and safety goals Participate in performance reviews and corrective actions Lead safety training and development efforts Benchmark best practices and drive improvement Ensure compliance with HR and legal requirements Qualifications Experience in transportation safety, compliance, and driver management Strong knowledge of DOT regulations Strong communication and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office High school diploma required; additional education preferred Why Join Us? 50+ year, stable West Michigan company Leadership role with real impact Team-oriented environment
