Environmental, Health & Safety Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead environmental compliance, workplace health and safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within a manufacturing environment. This role will serve as the company's subject matter expert for EHS matters and will partner with leadership and employees to strengthen a proactive safety culture, manage regulatory compliance, and reduce operational risk. Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs across the organization. Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, MIOSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulatory requirements. Manage permits, regulatory reporting, recordkeeping, and compliance submissions. Lead incident, injury, near-miss, and environmental event investigations; complete root cause analysis and corrective actions. Chair or lead the Safety Committee and partner with operations to improve safe work practices. Conduct facility inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and compliance gaps. logs and related safety documentation. Oversee chemical safety, SDS management, chemical approvals, and chemical usage tracking. Coordinate hazardous waste handling, manifests, disposal activities, and spill prevention efforts. Lead emergency preparedness activities, including drills, response planning, and first responder coordination. Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, contractors, and leadership. Monitor key EHS metrics and communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to management. Support ISO 14001
internal audits and environmental management system activities. Partner with HR on workers' compensation, return-to-work, and related case management activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA, MIOSHA, EPA, DOT, and related environmental and safety regulations. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS documentation/tracking systems. Knowledge of ISO 14001
preferred. Required Certifications / Expectations Obtain OSHA 30-hour card within 6 months of hire. Obtain OSHA 511
for General Industry within 18 months of hire. Obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire. Obtain Waste Treatment Plant Operator (A-1h) and Storm Water Management - Industrial Site (A-1i) certifications within 6 months of hire. Forklift Train-the-Trainer authorization preferred/required based on site needs. Additional credentials such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are a plus. Additional Information Reports to:

Environmental, Health and Safety Occasional travel may be required. This role includes presence in a manufacturing environment and participation in emergency response and site inspections as needed.
