Job Description

Build a Safer Workplace. Build Your Career. Speedrack Products Group, Ltd is looking for a motivated Safety Supervisor who is passionate about creating a culture where safety comes first. If you enjoy being on the production floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and making a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you. This position is more than a Safety Supervisor role—it's a leadership development opportunity. Working directly with our Environmental Health & Safety Manager, you'll gain the experience and responsibility needed to grow into a Safety Manager position within approximately three years. Essential Duties and Responsibilities As our Safety Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting safety operations at our Quincy manufacturing facility while providing occasional support to our Walker location.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting safety observations, audits, inspections, and facility walkthroughs Coaching employees and supervisors on safe work practices Promoting a positive, proactive safety culture through employee engagement Investigating incidents, near misses, and injuries to determine root causes Tracking corrective actions and driving continuous improvement initiatives Coordinating and delivering safety training, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and other required programs Ensuring OSHA and company safety compliance Maintaining safety documentation, reports, and regulatory records Analyzing safety metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement Supporting ergonomic initiatives, behavior-based safety programs, and employee safety suggestion programs Providing safety support, training, and audits for our Walker facility as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification (or ability to obtain within six months) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field Previous supervisory or team leadership experience First Aid/CPR Certification Why You'll Love This Role Opportunity to grow into a Safety Manager position Hands-on leadership role with visible impact Collaborative team environment Variety of office and production floor responsibilities Ability to influence safety culture across multiple manufacturing facilities Opportunity to lead meaningful safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects Work Environment This position splits time between an office setting and the manufacturing floor.
