Fuel allowance for business-related travel About the Role Cheetah Trucking is seeking a Trucking Safety & Driver Manager to oversee safety, compliance, driver management, and fleet support operations. This is a hands-on, on-site position that serves as the primary point of contact for company drivers while ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation safety, driver management, compliance, and fleet operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships with drivers while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain company safety programs and policies Monitor and enforce compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards Conduct safety reviews, audits, and corrective action plans Investigate incidents and assist with accident documentation and follow-up Driver Management Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers Manage driver onboarding and orientation processes Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files and ensure regulatory compliance Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring efforts Monitor driver performance and provide coaching when necessary ELD & Operational Management Manage Electronic Logging Device (ELD) systems and compliance Review Hours of Service records and address violations Assist drivers with ELD troubleshooting and training Fleet & Maintenance Administration Maintain truck and equipment files Schedule preventive maintenance and repair services Develop and manage fleet maintenance plans Coordinate with vendors and service providers to minimize downtime Fuel Card & Expense Management Manage company fuel card programs Audit fuel transactions and reports for accuracy and potential fraud Monitor fuel purchasing trends and identify irregular activity Additional Responsibilities Manage PrePass and toll account administration Maintain driver binders and compliance documentation Assist with regulatory audits and inspections Perform other transportation safety and compliance duties as assigned Qualifications Experience in trucking safety, compliance, fleet management, transportation operations, or a related field Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and driver qualification standards Experience managing ELD platforms and driver compliance programs preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation management software Valid driver's license required Work Environment This is a fully on-site position. Primary office location is O'Fallon, Missouri. Frequent travel between the O'Fallon office and the company's St. Louis yard is required. Fuel allowance is provided for approved business travel between locations.

Compensation Annual salary:
