Field Safety Supervisor

Tri-National, Inc., a fast-growing, truck load carrier in a JIT environment, located in St. Charles, MO, is currently seeking an additional highly motivated individual to join our Safety Department. This position would report directly to the Director of Safety in carrying out the responsibilities of the Safety Department and ensuring the company DOT compliance. TNi is looking for individuals who have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Transportation, possess a background in Safety and DOT regulations, and possess prior experience with AS400 and QUALCOMM, preferred. TNi has dedicated itself to providing seamless service for the trading partners in Mexico, US, and Canada.

Responsibilities :

Perform driver annual reviews in compliance with DOT regulations. Assist with coordinating DOT random drug and alcohol tests. Manage ongoing driver training, post-violation, post citation, post warning and post-accident training. Upload to Tenstreet and document training in driver AS400 Safety Performance File. Manage and maintain monthly Driver Violation Summary Letters and spreadsheet. Troubleshoot and address issues with Qualcomm and driver logs. Administer driver training and counseling as needed. Oversee daily Qualcomm monitoring to ensure drivers remain DOT compliant. Perform inspections of driver's vehicles and credentials ensuring they are in compliance with company policy and the law. Act as back up to the accident and work comp administrator. Travel to company terminals for driver safety meetings, shop and terminal inspections. Monitor daily driving videos through Samsara to ensure safety on the road Assist with other Safety Department and TNi needs as requested.

Requirements :

Knowledgeable of HOS Regulations and FMCSR Regulations as they apply to TNi. Knowledge of DOT regulations, with emphasis on hours of service. Prior experience in Safety and DOT regulations in Transportation, preferred. AS400, Tenstreet and

QUALCOMM

experience, preferred. Proficient with spreadsheets and Excel, a plus Bachelor's Degree, preferred. Proven track record of achievements, a plus. Prior supervision of OTR Drivers, a plus. Possesses good communication, counseling and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates the ability to manage stress, detail orientated, multitask, & prioritize. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
