This position is ideal for an experienced safety professional with a strong background in industrial or construction environments. The Regional Safety Manager will support regional leadership, field operations, and project teams by providing guidance, training, compliance oversight, and safety program management. This role requires someone who can lead with confidence, identify risks before they become problems, and help maintain a safe, compliant, and accountable work environment across multiple project sites.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Provide technical safety guidance and support to regional leadership and field operations teams. Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices aligned with corporate goals. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, customer-specific, and company safety regulations across all assigned project sites. Oversee field safety representatives and conduct safety audits to identify unsafe conditions, procedural gaps, and corrective actions. Manage project startup safety requirements, including training, medical surveillance, drug testing, and behavioral safety initiatives. Lead incident investigations and workers' compensation processes using root cause analysis to reduce future risk. Coordinate and deliver safety training programs to support workforce readiness and regulatory compliance. Support industrial hygiene monitoring, ergonomic initiatives, and wellness programs to help reduce occupational hazards. Partner with estimating teams and customer safety departments to assist with project safety planning and compliance needs. Maintain safety documentation, reporting, and corrective action tracking to support operational visibility. Facilitate lessons learned reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across regional operations. Travel to project locations as needed to support field teams, audits, training, and safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or equivalent technical training and experience required. Construction Health and Safety Technician certification or equivalent required. Associate Safety Professional or Graduate Safety Professional certification preferred. At least 10 years of industrial or construction safety experience required. Previous supervisory experience overseeing safety professionals is required. Experience with workers' compensation, regulatory compliance, safety audits, and safety program oversight. Training and hands-on experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis required. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, local building codes, and industry best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and safety-related software tools. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid state-issued driver's license required. Ability to travel up to 60% to support regional projects, field operations, and training initiatives.

$130k to $165k per year
