Job Description

Must-Have Qualifications:
Previous construction experience (can be pipeline or industrial projects) Minimum of 3 years of experience with direct safety Experience with field audits, training and developing, permit-to-work systems
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily safety oversight of all construction activities at the project site. Promote and enforce compliance with the project Health & Safety Plan (HASP) and Contractor Safety Manual. Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations. Monitor contractor and subcontractor work practices to ensure safe execution of tasks.
Key Competencies:
Strong understanding and application of OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local standards Ability to enforce compliance with HASP, Contractor Safety Manual, and project-specific procedures Advanced ability to identify, assess, and mitigate hazards in dynamic construction environments Proficiency in reviewing and validating Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and ensuring appropriate controls are in place Skilled in conducting daily field inspections, compliance audits, and safety observations across multiple work fronts Ability to evaluate labor, equipment, materials, and work practices against
Tallgrass Standards Minimum Qualifications:
SSH (Site Safety and Health Officer), CSHO (Certified Safety and Health Official), SHEP (Safety Health & Environmental Professional), or equivalent certification or
OSHA 510, OSHA
511, or higher-level OSHA certification
