Overview:
Six Flags Great Adventure Resort is looking for a Supervisor in the Public Safety Department's Risk Management Team. The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for protecting the park's assets by assisting the Full-Time Public Safety Supervisor in setting up claims, investigating them, reporting on them, and ensuring upkeep of preventive risk maintenance. All aspects of the position require high integrity and confidentiality, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures. This position reports to a Public Safety Full-Time Supervisor and the Public Safety Manager.
Responsibilities:
Assign and conduct Safety Investigations for all incidents requiring them. Conduct Root Cause Analysis reports for Safety Incidents that occur. Responsible for ensuring that claims are updated with information in Origami and SharePoint. Analyze investigative data for witness and claimant interviews and documentation. Conduct interviews with those guests/employees who have unexplained variances and are involved in policy violations. Assist Park compliance with Corporate guidelines. Assist with the Parks EHS Program. Work with third-party claims adjusters to gather information for the park. Assist with Salesforce claims. Other duties as assigned. Expected to work 24 to 32 hours a week.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age Must have at least one year of Six Flags Great Adventure supervisory experience or similar work experience. Able to communicate effectively in English, including reading, speaking, and understanding English. Available to work flexible hours at night and on weekends. Must have excellent customer service skills. Previous management experience is helpful but not required. Requires continuous standing, bending, walking, hand/eye coordination, lifting, vision, hearing, and speech. Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition. Requires using a telephone. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day. Must be able to walk up to 3 miles daily over various surfaces. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. consistently. Must lift and carry 25 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces. Must be able to lift and lower 5 lbs. above shoulder level. Must be comfortable with heights over 10ft.
