General Pediatrics, PICU, and NICU Type:
Contract | Extension or Permanent Placement Possible We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight for Pediatric Services. This role supports quality patient care, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and support programs to improve patient care and employee performance Monitor patient care delivery and departmental performance metrics Collaborate with Nurse Managers to evaluate operations and identify improvements Support corrective action planning and implementation Track medication errors, counseling activities, and quality indicators Provide staff coaching, mentoring, and performance support Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and operational excellence
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Master's Degree in Nursing preferred Active Registered Nurse (RN) License NYSED Primary Source Verification of RN License Current BLS Certification Minimum 7 years of nursing experience Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience Experience in patient care management and clinical operations Experience with quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Pediatric, PICU, NICU, or acute care leadership experience preferred For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
