Site Safety Manager

Join a busy, successful, and growing team making a major impact in the NY market! We're hiring a Site Safety Manager to represent ownership and take the lead on all safety operations at an active site in Tarrytown. This is a high-visibility role where your expertise directly shapes safe, efficient project delivery.

Schedule:

Early shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

Act as the on-site safety authority, overseeing all construction, maintenance, and repair activities. Attend project and operations meetings to ensure safety is integrated into all work planning. Maintain a centralized log of daily work activities across contractors and subcontractors. Track field activity and manage all EHS documentation and incident reporting. Review, manage, and verify vendor permits, ensuring full compliance and proper posting. Validate permits to work, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and conduct regular spot checks. Deliver and coordinate safety training programs for site personnel. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and internal safety policies. Conduct daily safety inspections, proactively identifying and mitigating hazards. Oversee high-risk activities including working at heights, confined space entry, and electrical safety (LOTO). Support contractor bidding by defining safety requirements and reviewing safety plans.

Qualifications:

5+ years of dedicated safety experience (safety-focused roles only).

Preferred certifications:

CSP, CHST, ASP.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading meetings and trainings. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with EHS reporting systems and safety documentation tools. Pay Range:
