Responsibilities:

Train supervisor to communicate/train employees on safety discussions Develop pre-shift safety training topics and document Work closely with Plant Management and supervisors to coordinate employee attendance at required trainings Manage monthly training topics Ensure annual LOTO training requirements are completed Assist the forklift trainers in developing trainings and maintain records Complete and enforce new hire safety training Manage, contract, and coordinate annual outside training for the following: Respiratory fit testing, Fire extinguishers, Emergency Evacuations Ensure all users know how to use the training software

Requirements :

3+ years' plant safety experience in the food industry Knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety practices Knowledge of proven accident prevention measures in the food industry. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in excel and word.
