GOZAL INC

is hiring a Safety Manager to oversee compliance and improve safety performance across our fleet of 60+ trucks and 150+ dry van trailers. We're looking for someone who can take ownership, enforce standards, and keep our operation running safely and efficiently.

Full-time Responsibilities:

Oversee driver safety, compliance, and DOT regulations Monitor and review ELD logs (HOS compliance) Handle driver incidents, violations, and corrective actions Review dashcam footage (Samsara) and coach drivers on safety performance Manage driver onboarding from a safety standpoint (road test, policies, compliance) Maintain driver qualification files and ensure FMCSA compliance Conduct safety meetings and ongoing driver training Track safety metrics and implement improvements

Requirements:

Experience in trucking safety or fleet compliance Strong understanding of FMCSA and DOT regulations Experience with ELD systems and log auditing Ability to enforce policies and communicate clearly with drivers Organized and detail-oriented

Preferred:

Experience with Samsara or similar dashcam systems CDL (not required) Experience with fleet/dispatch systems (Alvys is a plus)

Pay:
