EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Manager

EHS Manager Timpl has partnered with a global battery manufacturing industry to recruit a EHS Manager. This position establishes and coordinates safety committees , conducts regular safety meetings, and is responsible for monitoring working conditions to ensure all activity is compliant with state and federal safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and oversee workplace safety policies and programs in compliance with OSHA regulations and standards . Conduct regular safety inspections and audits throughout manufacturing operations; investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities across the organization, including management of EHS personnel and development of annual operating and capital budgets. Collaborate closely with client's battery safety teams to align safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and risk management activities. Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance workplace safety culture, environmental performance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Training and/or

OSHA 510

Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry . Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene , or a related field. Minimum 5 years of safety management experience in a manufacturing environment . Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigation methodologies, and risk assessment practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications ASP (Associate Safety Professional) certification. CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification. Experience in battery manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, chemical processing, or other highly regulated industrial environments. Experience managing EHS budgets and leading regulatory compliance programs. #
