Job Description

The Safety Manager assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that align with organizational and regulatory standards. This role plays a key part in driving safety awareness, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve workplace safety. The Safety Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, leads safety initiatives, and maintains a visible presence in the field to reinforce a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Associate degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience ASP or CSP certification preferred Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, fire codes, and building codes Ability to research and resolve safety-related issues Experience developing safety programs, policies, and procedures Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence diverse audiences Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement preventative solutions Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses Comfortable working in environments with potential hazards and varying conditions Develop, update, and maintain safety plans, policies, and procedures Conduct and/or oversee monthly safety inspections across assigned properties Coordinate and deliver safety training for employees and leadership Identify risks and implement corrective actions to improve workplace safety Investigate incidents, analyze trends, and determine root causes Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports and documentation Lead or support safety committees and safety-related initiatives Assist with implementation of Safety, Health & Environmental Management Systems Support emergency preparedness efforts, including drills and response coordination Compile and report safety metrics, inspection findings, and compliance data Assist with regulatory compliance, audits, and inspections Supervise team members and contribute to hiring, performance, and disciplinary decisions Maintain a visible presence on-site to promote safety awareness and engagement Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
