In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs across manufacturing operations. Your proactive approach will ensure adherence to all relevant regulations while fostering a culture of safety excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence positive change and promote sustainable practices within a fast-paced industrial environment. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies aligned with local, state, and federal regulations such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and workers' compensation law. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and root cause analysis to identify hazards and prevent incidents before they occur. Lead incident investigations by gathering evidence, analyzing root causes, and preparing detailed report writing to inform corrective actions. Coordinate training & development programs for employees on topics including first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), OSHA standards, occupational health practices, and emergency response procedures. Manage workers' compensation claims process ensuring compliance with applicable laws while supporting injured employees through recovery. Oversee environmental compliance initiatives such as waste management, pollution control measures, and sustainability practices in accordance with EPA regulations. Foster a safety-first culture by promoting open communication about hazards and encouraging employee participation in safety programs. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA standards and occupational health principles. Certification in first aid, CPR, OSHA safety training, and familiarity with EPA regulations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and report writing for incident investigations. Knowledge of workers' compensation law procedures and claims management processes. Excellent training & development skills to educate staff on safety protocols effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across teams and promote a culture of safety excellence.
