Mine Safety Director

Eastern Oregon University (EOU) is seeking nominations, applications, and expressions of interest to serve as its Mine Safety Director. Required in our U.S. Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Mine Safety Inspection grant, the mine safety director is responsible for administering all mine safety training operations related to the Oregon Mine Safety and Health Training Program (the Program). Consistent with EOU?s mission, this outreach state service position is designed to connect EOU training opportunities throughout Oregon and adds to the economic and workforce development possibilities of our region and state. This position is not location bound. Position is contingent upon grant funding.
