Airfield Safety Officer (ASO)

We are seeking an experienced Airfield Safety Officer (ASO) to oversee contractor traffic, monitor operations within the Air Operations Area (AOA), and ensure compliance with all applicable airfield safety requirements. Responsibilities Monitor contractor activities within the AOA Ensure compliance with FAA, Part 139, airport, and project safety requirements Conduct safety briefings and field audits Coordinate with airport personnel, contractors, and operations teams Identify hazards and implement corrective actions Maintain safe vehicle and pedestrian movement throughout active airfield operations Document incidents, observations, and compliance activities

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of AOA experience Strong knowledge of FAA, PHL, and Part 139 requirements Experience leading safety briefings and compliance oversight Strong communication and field leadership skillsA Ability to work night shifts in active airfield environments

Preferred:

OSHA 30 Previous airport construction or aviation project experience Experience working around active runways/taxiways

Pay:

$45.00
