Job Description

Job Overview The Director of Service Quality and Organizational Safety leads the development of quality systems, oversees internal review processes, and coordinates risk reduction efforts across the organization. The position monitors performance, identifies areas needing attention, and supports teams in implementing improvements. This role also manages incident review processes, supports external audits, and ensures that policies and procedures reflect current expectations and requirements. Responsibilities Designs and maintains the organization's quality and safety structure Oversees internal reviews to evaluate service quality, documentation, and compliance Works with program leaders to develop improvement plans and monitors follow through Develops systems for collecting and analyzing data to support decision making Leads organizational risk assessments and coordinates efforts to reduce exposure Oversees incident reporting processes, follow up, and trend identification Supports leadership during licensing reviews, external audits, and accreditation activities Coordinates investigations related to potential compliance concerns Updates and maintains policies related to quality, compliance, and safety Provides training and guidance to staff on quality expectations and safety procedures Oversees claims review processes and collaborates with partners to reduce losses Maintains current knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry expectations Supervises assigned staff and supports their professional development Completes additional assignments as needed to support organizational operations Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in human services or healthcare Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and recommend solutions Clear and effective communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with staff at all levels Ability to lead teams through change and improvement efforts Proficiency with office software and comfort learning new systems Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds Ability to use standard office equipment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Valid driver's license At least five years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, risk management, or related work, including supervisory experience
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
