Full Job Description Operations Compliance and Safety Supervisor Company Overview:
Novick Corporation is a food distribution company that specializes in servicing foodservice clients in childcare centers and educational settings. Members of the team are USDA and CACFP specialists, and work with our childcare partners to provide healthier snack and meal options. Because we specialize in childcare, we have a full range of offerings, including food, cleaning, and paper supplies. Our ancillary services allow us to partner with our clients to help fulfill each individual program's goals for the health of their children. Services include menu planning with our nutritionists, nutritional trainings, portioning and serving guidelines, Serve Safe, inventory and cost control assistance, access to healthier child-friendly product and recipes, and more.

Responsibilities Include:
Driver & Warehouse Compliance:
Oversee operations training, maintain DQ files, audit Hours of Service (HOS), and perform yearly certifications.
Safety & Risk Management:
Lead monthly safety meetings, audit HAACP plan documentation, and oversee accident reporting. Analyze team safety data and scorecards to reduce workplace accidents and injuries.
Training & HR:
Conduct onboarding training to include classroom, student record administration, on road trainings and warehouse certifications. Assist HR with onboarding and file management.
Operations & Facility Oversight:
Conduct food safety/temperature warehouse/truck inspections, and act as IT liaison for technical equipment.
Back-Up Route Support:
Provide hands-on backup for drivers and warehouse duties and supervision. CDL B license preferred. Responsible for safely operating a CDL B vehicle on assigned routes to ensure timely client deliveries. Applicants who do not currently possess a CDL B license must be willing to obtain one.
Qualifications :
Must have prior transportation and warehouse experience (food service distribution highly preferred). Strong understanding of DOT CDL regulations, union compliance and food safety standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
