Fire Alarm Division Manager Location:

Emerald Fire Job Summary Emerald Fire is looking for a strong leader to build, manage, and grow our Fire Alarm & Security Division. This role is responsible for the overall operations, profitability, field execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth of the department. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fire alarm systems, leadership experience, and the ability to drive performance in both the field and office. This position will oversee inspections, service, installations, technicians, scheduling, customer relationships, and department financials. This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, solves problems quickly, and holds a high standard for quality, safety, and accountability. Responsibilities Lead and oversee all fire alarm and security inspections, service, and installation operations Manage department profitability, revenue, labor, and overall financial performance Build and maintain strong customer relationships Develop department growth strategies and improve operational efficiency Manage scheduling, manpower planning, and technician performance Perform field audits, ride-alongs, and quality control reviews Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and standards Coordinate with project managers, sales teams, field staff, vendors, and customers Oversee material ordering, inventory, job staging, and fleet/tool management Lead final inspections and coordination with AHJs, contractors, and owners Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions Support recruiting, mentoring, and development of field and office personnel Assist with business development and customer retention efforts Step into field operations when needed to support company goals Qualifications Required 7+ years of Fire Alarm industry experience in design, install and sales. NICET Level 2 Fire Alarm Certification CFAT Level 2 Certification 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of fire alarm inspections, service, troubleshooting, and installations Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Preferred NICET certifications beyond Level 2 Experience with Sage Experience managing department financials and P&L reporting Business management experience What We're Looking For A leader who holds high standards and leads from the front Someone who can build systems, improve processes, and drive accountability Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills A team-oriented mindset with a focus on customer service and long-term relationships Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment Why Emerald Fire Emerald Fire is a rapidly growing fire protection company with nationwide capabilities, in-house design and BIM teams, and expanding fabrication operations. Bonus Program Pay:
$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
