Job Description
This is a HYBRID Opportunity! We are a growing Specialized ( Oversize, RGN, Step Deck etc .) OTR transportation company investing in safety and looking for the right Transportation / Fleet Safety Manager to join our team in Rowlett, TX. About the Role We want to build a disciplined fleet with strong safety at its core, while keeping high driver morale and positive relationships. You will implement and lead a modern safety program that helps our drivers succeed and allows us to win better-paying freight from top shippers (so drivers don't feel pressure to push limits or violate hours-of-service rules). What You'll Do Build and roll out a comprehensive safety program fully aligned with current FMCSA regulations. Coach and guide drivers with a positive, supportive approach, focusing on corrective behavior and development rather than aggressive enforcement. Conduct training, investigations, audits, and safety communications. Build strong relationships with drivers and help foster a positive work atmosphere. Enforce clear safety rules and thresholds while maintaining trust and morale.
