Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations & Safety Manager to lead our operational activities with energy and precision. You will oversee daily business functions, drive process improvements, and keep track of customer jobs. Your leadership will ensure that our operations are efficient, profitable, and aligned with our long-term vision. This person would be responsible for all manufacturing and safety operations at Vista Metals, Inc. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive workplace safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other federal, state and local regulations Lead, motivate, and supervise the team to achieve high standards Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful results Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to streamline workflows Drive business development efforts by cultivating client relationships Serve as a key point of coordination between sales and manufacturing A "hands-on" approach to problem-solving and a willingness to spend significant time on the production floor Partnering with quality production supervisor and machine operators to bridge the gap between theoretical engineering and practical shop-floor execution Requirements Proven management experience with a strong track record in supervising teams and leading projects Knowledge of OSHA standards Expertise in strategic planning, business development, and process optimization Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster collaboration Supervising and tracking work orders using our ERP system Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent communication skills If you are looking for a great place to work with a wonderful group of people, please apply today!
