Estimated annual base pay:

The site EHS Manager will lead the development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of a comprehensive environmental, health and safety management system. The position is responsible for ensuring EHS compliance with all federal, state, local and company standards and regulations. The position will lead the integration of EHS in a team environment. In this role, you will be based at the new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility where we support the manufacturing of hydraulic actuators for today's aircraft with some of the latest automated manufacturing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
EHS Policy Development:
Create and implement environmental, health, and safety policies to ensure regulatory compliance and organizational standards.
Team Leadership:
Manage and oversee the EHS team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to achieve departmental objectives. In a flexible and cross-trained teaming environment, take a leadership role in sitewide decision making
Risk Management:
Conduct and oversee EHS risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate health, safety and environmental risks.
Compliance Monitoring:
Coordinate regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to EHS regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.
Training Coordination:
Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs to enhance employee awareness, compliance, and safety practices. Ability to teach and coach others. Deploy and monitor the effectiveness of an EHS Management system. Engage leadership and drive actions to continuously improve the EHS Management system. In partnership with the VP of Operations, lead the deployment and monitoring of fatal and serious injury prevention activities. In partnership with site Human and Organizational Performance champions, lead the deployment and monitoring of effectiveness of the Human and Organizational Performance process. Develop local systems to capture environmental sustainability data. Monitor trends and develop initiatives to improve.

Skilled in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating potential EHS hazards within the organization. Energize leadership by identifying issues, educating leaders and engaging leaders on appropriate actions.
Team Leadership:
Capable of leading and managing EHS teams to achieve operational objectives effectively.
Strategic Planning:
Experienced in developing and implementing short-term and long-term EHS strategies aligned with business goals.
Performance Management:
Adept at conducting performance appraisals, providing feedback, and managing team performance to meet EHS targets.
Incident Investigation:
Competent in leading and teaching teams to conduct thorough investigations of EHS incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Training Development:
Expertise in designing and delivering EHS training programs to enhance employee awareness and compliance.
Operational Planning:
Skilled in adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Data Analysis:
Proficient in analyzing EHS data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and inform decision-making.
Effective Communication:
Excellent ability to convey EHS policies, procedures, and initiatives clearly to all organizational levels.
