0800•1700 Project Scope The Safety Manager will support roofing operations on a Google Data Center project in Summerville, SC. This role focuses on maintaining a strong safety presence across the job site while overseeing a crew of approximately 20-30 workers engaged in active construction activities. The position requires hands-on execution of daily safety functions including site inspections, scaffold inspections, and general safety monitoring. The Safety Manager will ensure compliance with safety regulations while proactively identifying hazards associated with roofing and elevated work environments.

This is a field-driven role requiring visibility, communication, and consistent engagement with crews to ensure safe work practices are followed throughout the project duration. Qualifications CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) required Additional Requirements Ability to work extended hours and Saturdays as needed Strong on-site presence and communication skills Experience with roofing or elevated work environments preferred Key Responsibilities Conduct daily site safety inspections Perform scaffold inspections and ensure compliance Maintain safety visibility across active work areas Monitor crew activities for adherence to safety protocols Identify and address hazards in real-time Support safe execution of roofing operations Report and document safety observations Skills Safety inspections, scaffold inspection, hazard identification, construction safety, field communication, OSHA compliance Knowledge Base The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of construction safety practices, particularly in roofing and elevated work environments. Experience with scaffold systems, job site hazard identification, and OSHA compliance standards is essential.
