Disaster Management Group LLC (DMG) is seeking an accomplished and mission‑driven Senior Site Safety Manager to lead, execute, and continuously enhance all company‑wide safety programs. This senior leadership role has enterprise‑level responsibility for safety performance, compliance, and culture across domestic and international operations, including work performed under DoD and federal contracts with expert knowledge in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements .Responsibilities:
Provide executive‑level leadership and oversight for all corporate safety programs across DMG operations worldwide. Develop, implement, monitor, and enforce comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and systems. Ensure full compliance with OSHA , DoD, and applicable federal, state, local, and international safety regulations . Lead safety planning, risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and incident investigations. Serve as the company's primary authority and subject matter expert for safety, health, and compliance matters. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and performance reviews at domestic and international project sites . Create SOPs, track safety KPIs, leading and lagging indicators, and provide executive‑level reporting and recommendations. Partner with operations, leadership, and project teams to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Manage emergency response planning, disaster operations, and expeditionary project deployments as required. Promote the current OSHA compliant culture throughout the organization. Maintain site specific accident prevention, emergency response, and hazard control plans. Facilitate safety process development, implementation, and compliance of all subcontracts . Manage safety audit program for various locations in compliance with corporate, state, federal, local regulations, and contract requirements. Address site-related safety, quality, health, and welfare to include environmental concerns. Provide guidance to managers and supervisors in the interpretation and compliance of safety and health-related contract requirements . Coordinate investigations for injury, property damage and vehicle incidents to ensure thorough investigations and appropriate root cause identification. Conduct special evaluations and internal safety and health field surveys/audits. Manage fleet, including updating vehicle licenses, registration, tags, etc. Other duties as assigned/required. Education Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or related discipline (Master's preferred) OSHA, CSP and/or equivalent certification preferred. Skills & Experience 15+ years' of solid experience in safety management, emergency response, and operational field environments Demonstrated experience supporting DoD, federal government, or federally funded contracts , including compliance with contract-specific safety requirements. Managerial/supervisory experience Proven ability to lead teams, enforce standards, and perform in high-tempo, mission-critical austere environments Willingness and ability to travel to our project sites within the US and internationally with approximately a 60 days on/ and 14 days rotational leave Strong communication, leadership, and judgement skills Position requires flexibility, resilience, and the ability to operate independently in complex and dynamic environments.EEO/Drug Free Workplace Job Type:
