Job Description

Safety Manager - Commercial Construction The ideal candidate will have strong field presence, the ability to build relationships with project teams, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential safety risks. A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and enforce jobsite safety programs across multiple commercial construction projects. This individual will play a critical role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and protecting the well-being of employees, subcontractors, and project teams. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage the company's jobsite safety programs and policies Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses while implementing corrective actions Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote safe work practices Monitor subcontractor safety performance across projects Qualifications 5+ years of construction safety experience , preferably in commercial construction Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices OSHA 30-hour certification required (OSHA 500 preferred) Experience conducting safety training and jobsite inspections Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple projects What This Opportunity Offers Opportunity to work with a respected commercial contractor Competitive salary and benefits Strong company culture focused on safety and teamwork Long-term career growth opportunities
