We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Traveling Safety Trainer to support safety performance, driver development, operational consistency, and compliance across our network. This is a high-impact field leadership role designed for candidates with strong FedEx Ground operational experience who can coach drivers, improve safety culture, reduce preventable accidents, and support station leadership teams nationwide. The ideal candidate has prior experience as a: FedEx Ground BC Operations Manager Safety Manager AO (Authorized Officer) Driver Trainer or Fleet Safety Leader This position requires extensive travel between FedEx Ground terminals and the ability to work independently in fast-paced transportation environments. Key ResponsibilitiesDriver Safety & Training Conduct ride-alongs and field safety evaluations Train drivers on: Safe driving practices Backing prevention Accident reduction Scanner compliance Vehicle inspections and DVIR procedures Customer delivery standards FedEx Ground operational compliance Operational Compliance Perform station audits and identify operational risks Develop corrective action plans for safety and service failures Assist with: DOT compliance OSHA awareness
