In this pivotal role, you will oversee safety protocols, ensure compliance with occupational health standards, and manage risk mitigation strategies across construction projects. Your expertise will help create a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment, fostering a culture of safety excellence from planning through project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead safety initiatives, support construction management teams, and uphold industry standards such as
OSHA, NEC
(National Electrical Code), and Workers' Compensation regulations. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive risk management plans tailored to construction site activities. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, NEC guidelines, and local safety regulations across all projects. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions. Manage occupational health programs to promote worker well-being, including ergonomic assessments and injury prevention strategies. Oversee compliance management efforts related to Workers' Compensation claims, OSHA reporting requirements, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) policies. Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety protocols into project planning and execution phases. Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, incident reports, and compliance documentation efficiently. Lead training sessions on safety procedures, risk mitigation techniques, and regulatory updates for all site personnel. Requirements Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and occupational health standards. Knowledge of risk management practices specific to the construction industry, including hazard identification and mitigation techniques. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code), Workers' Compensation processes, and compliance management systems. Hands-on experience with construction management software tools used for safety tracking and reporting. Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough site inspections, enforce safety policies, and foster a culture of safety awareness among diverse teams. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Construction site experience with a focus on EHS protocols and safety compliance is highly preferred.
