This role is ideal for a proactive safety professional who thrives in the field, takes ownership, and works collaboratively with operations teams to maintain a strong safety culture. This position requires a working leader who is comfortable balancing compliance responsibilities with operational support and field engagement. Responsibilities Oversee and support company safety programs, policies, and procedures Conduct field audits, inspections, and safety observations Lead incident investigations and corrective action follow-up Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements Support operations teams across multiple projects and work environments Coordinate and conduct safety training, onboarding, and toolbox talks Maintain required safety documentation and reporting Analyzing safety data trends and partner with management to promote accountability and continuous improvement Respond to operational and safety-related matters as needed in a 24/7 operational environment Stay current with updates in workers' compensation law and ensure organizational adherence to legal requirements. Experience Prior experience in an industrial, construction, environmental, oil & gas, tank cleaning, or related operational environment preferred Strong understanding of OSHA and workplace safety standards Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions Comfortable working in both office and field environments Ability to build credibility with operations personnel while maintaining accountability Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA standards, workers' compensation law, and industrial environmental health practices. Prior experience in conducting training. Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, OSHA Safety Certification, or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to lead safety initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
