Overview We are seeking a motivated Bilingual Safety Technician to join our team and promote a safe, compliant construction site environment. This role is vital in ensuring safety protocols are followed, hazards are managed proactively, and communication is seamless across diverse teams. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, with a passion for occupational health and safety in construction settings. Responsibilities Conduct bilingual safety orientations and ongoing safety training for all site personnel to ensure understanding of safety policies and procedures Monitor construction activities to identify potential hazards related to risk management, OSHA standards, and occupational health regulations Assist in implementing and maintaining compliance management systems aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) and workers' compensation requirements Perform regular safety inspections on construction sites, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions Support construction management in accident investigations, incident reporting, and follow-up procedures Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training sessions, and compliance documentation using construction management software Collaborate with project teams to promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of construction management practices Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication across diverse teams Knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management principles, occupational health standards, and NEC codes Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and compliance management strategies Experience using construction management software for documentation and reporting purposes Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough safety inspections and risk assessments Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with workers, management, and external agencies Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in construction management or EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) roles within the construction industry Certifications related to OSHA or occupational health are highly desirable Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and hazard mitigation Join our team as a Bilingual Safety Technician to help us build safer workplaces while advancing your career in the vibrant world of construction!
