In this pivotal role, you will lead safety initiatives across manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to occupational health standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will foster a culture of safety, empowering employees and safeguarding assets through proactive risk management and comprehensive training programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on workplace safety while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly. Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and prepare detailed report writing to prevent future occurrences. Coordinate and deliver engaging training & development sessions on topics such as OSHA compliance, first aid, CPR, workers' compensation law, and occupational health best practices. Oversee emergency response procedures, including first aid protocols and CPR readiness, ensuring all team members are prepared for potential incidents. Maintain accurate safety documentation, records of inspections, incident reports, and compliance reports for internal review and regulatory agencies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous safety improvement through proactive communication and employee engagement. Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles. Certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and Workers' Compensation Law are highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and report writing effectively to support incident investigations. Knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) practices and experience implementing safety training & development programs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and collaborate with management on safety initiatives.
