We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to oversee all aspects of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory programs within our facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and enjoys working closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to continuously improve safety performance. Responsibilities Lead and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the facility. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries to determine root cause and implement corrective actions. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs. Coordinate employee safety orientation and ongoing training. Manage OSHA recordkeeping, environmental reporting, permits, and regulatory documentation. Oversee hazardous waste management and environmental compliance programs. Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate workplace hazards. Facilitate safety committee meetings and communicate key safety metrics to leadership. Monitor contractor safety compliance while on-site. Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and improve environmental performance. Ensure emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and PPE programs remain current and effective.
