Job Summary The EHS Manager plays an essential role in establishing and promoting a culture of safety within the specific sites they are assigned, focusing on compliance with both internal EHS policies and external regulatory requirements. This position involves overseeing EHS protocols at a specific site, ensuring the site adheres to the highest standards of workplace safety and health. Essential Job Responsibilities This position involves overseeing EHS protocols on our construction sites throughout the Austin area, ensuring our sites adheres to the highest standards of workplace safety and health By conducting regular audits, providing training, and implementing EHS programs, the EHS team works to minimize risks, reduce workplace accidents, and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all employees Through collaboration with various departments and site leadership teams, this role supports the organization's commitment to safety, demonstrating the importance of proactive measures in safeguarding the well-being of its workforce Qualifications Minimum required: OSHA 30 required. Minimum 8 years prior experience working within the commercial or industrial construction industry, including manufacturing, pipeline, mining, food and beverage, power, and refining environments with at least 5 years in a safety role. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, standards, and other applicable codes/regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to assess potential hazards and risks within operations and develop and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.Preferred:
CSST or BCSP preferred.OSHA 500
preferred. MSHA Certification or background preferred.Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Mix of indoor office settings, and outdoor construction sites Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors Exposure to areas with limited visibility Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights) Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
