This position serves as a supervisor of assigned environmental health services with formal administrative, programmatic and performance management responsibilities for multiple staff in support of work unit goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications- Knowledge of technical and operational aspects of environmental health programs.
- Experience providing effective supervision and leadership of professional and technical staff.
- Experience evaluating programmatic needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of service delivery.
- Experience identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Strong communication skills, to include communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience and conveying verbal information clearly. Additional Considerations
- Experience in the administration of public environmental health programs
- Environmental Health Specialist Senior certifications are preferred
