Quality Manager (CMQ/OE Certified) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager with a CMQ/OE certification to lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across our regional waste operations. This role is ideal for a professional with 5+ years of experience in waste management, logistics, or related industries, who is passionate about ensuring compliance, improving operational efficiency, and driving organizational excellence. What You'll Do Lead the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations Conduct internal and external audits and oversee corrective action programs Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data analysis Monitor and report on quality KPIs and operational performance metrics Partner with operations and logistics teams to improve service quality and consistency Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions Manage supplier and vendor quality to ensure end-to-end service excellence Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices Quality Managers are responsible for overseeing quality systems, analyzing performance data, and ensuring products and services meet standards and customer expectations. [careers.acbsp.org] What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business, Logistics, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in: Waste management Logistics / supply chain Environmental services or similar field Strong knowledge of: Quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001) Regulatory compliance and environmental requirements Process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) Preferred Experience in waste operations, recycling, or environmental compliance programs Strong skills in data analysis and reporting tools Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale process improvements Key Skills Leadership and team development Analytical thinking and problem-solving Project and program management Communication and stakeholder engagement Continuous improvement mindset
