Safety Manager - Vermont or Maine Fulltime | Permanent | Global Infrastructure Hewitt is committed to maintaining a safe, high-performing workplace . We're seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to lead and elevate our safety culture across multiple sites based in Maine and Vermont, ensuring a compliant and secure environment for all. This is a key role where your impact will be seen and valued. About the Role This multi-site position calls for a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to lead and strengthen workplace safety across our facilities in Maine and Vermont, with the ability to travel regularly between locations. The role is responsible for identifying risks, enhancing safety protocols, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key role in fostering a proactive safety culture while partnering with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, committed to protecting employees and improving operational safety outcomes. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive efficiency Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing mitigation strategies Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions Maintain accurate records of safety activities, including training, inspections, and incident reporting Collaborate with Quality Assurance and leadership teams to align safety practices with operational and product integrity goals About You You are an experienced safety professional with a strong track record in high-risk or regulated environments, ideally within food processing. You bring a proactive mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement. Your leadership and communication skills enable you to influence and engage teams at all levels. You are confident navigating regulatory frameworks and committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace.
