Safety Supervisor (80-95k+) Milwaukee, WI
LOCATION
Milwaukee, WI TYPE Direct Hire SALARY $80,000 - $95,000 / yr ID j-13622 POSTED Jun 15, 2026 Major manufacturing seeks a Safety Supervisor who will oversee the health and safety department for 3 plants totaling 500+ employees. This person could also be located at their Whitewater area facility if they prefer.
Responsibilities include:
The Safety Specialist partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and plant leadership to implement effective controls, support safety training, conduct investigations and workers compensation, lead safety teams, and continuously improve workplace safety practices. This role maintains a strong presence on the production floor to identify hazards, evaluate risks, coach employees, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and the company's safety standards. Requirements;
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in workplace safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety management systems, incident investigation methodologies, and workers compensation
  • Demonstrated experience conducting job hazard analyses (JHAs), safety inspections, and risk assessments
  • Experience developing and leading safety committees
  • Experience supporting ISO 14001 or similar environmental/safety management systems Position requires 10-15% overnight travel
