We are seeking a Safety Manager to join a general contractor on a newly awarded, confidential data center construction project in Cheyenne, WY. This person will be responsible for managing all EH&S programs on site, serving as the primary safety contact for both the project team and client, and ensuring a safe, compliant work environment on a large, active construction site.Location & Work Environment:
The position is based on an active construction site in Cheyenne, WY , with open field conditions The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with 10-hour workdays and the possibility of working Saturdays based on project needs Employment is on an hourly contract basis, with the potential for overtime pay An office trailer with a dedicated indoor workspace is provided Equipment such as a laptop, iPad, and cell phone will be providedWhy You Should Be Interested:

Manage and oversee all EH&S programs for a large, active data center construction site Serve as the primary safety contact on site, interacting directly with the client's on-site representative Conduct site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training Monitor jobsite conditions and worker activities to ensure compliance with safety standards Issue observation reports and follow up on corrective actions Support and collaborate with the Superintendent and project team Attend weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings Enforce safety expectations with professionalism and appropriate assertiveness Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to EH&S activitiesQualifications:
Required:
8+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) experience supporting construction projects, preferably large‑scale or complex builds Thorough understanding of construction safety regulations, OSHA standards, and industry best practices Proven ability to work collaboratively with Superintendents, project leadership, subcontractors, and client representativesPreferred:
Experience on data center or other mission‑critical construction projects is highly desirable Experience with projects involving steel erection and electrical scope Bilingual (English/Spanish) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cheyenne, WY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
