Safety Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Manager to join a newly awarded, confidential data center construction project in Cheyenne, WY . This role is fast-paced and offers a significant opportunity for career advancement, with interviews starting immediately. The EH&S Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of the construction site by working closely with project leadership, client representatives, and field teams. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all EH&S programs for a large, active data center construction site. Serve as the primary safety contact on site, interacting directly with the client's on-site representative. Conduct site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training. Monitor jobsite conditions and worker activities to ensure compliance with safety standards. Issue observation reports and follow up on corrective actions. Support and collaborate with the Superintendent and project team. Attend weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings. Enforce safety expectations with professionalism and appropriate assertiveness. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to EH&S activities. Essential Skills 8+ years of EH&S experience in construction environments. Strong working knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices. Experience working directly with project leadership and client representatives. Data center or mission-critical project experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual capability is highly preferred. Experience with steel erection and electrical work is highly preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong data center experience on large, complex projects. Ability to work within a local Fort Collins team with national contractor support.

Work Environment:

The position is based on an active construction site in Cheyenne, WY, with open field conditions. An office trailer with a dedicated indoor workspace is provided. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with 10-hour workdays and the possibility of working Saturdays based on project needs. Employment is on an hourly contract basis, with the potential for overtime and future long-term opportunities for strong performers. Equipment such as a laptop, iPad, and cell phone will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cheyenne, WY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
